The lockdown is going on in the country regarding the Corona crisis. The first phase of the lockdown was to end today, but in view of the increasing case of corona, it was extended till May 3. PM Modi announced this in his address to the nation. Let us inform that in the hope of ending the lockdown and returning to their homes, a large number of migrant laborers had gathered in Bandra, Mumbai. All these laborers wanted to return to their homes. But in the meantime, there was a stampede due to the growing crowd and the police had to lathi-charge to bring it under control.
Aaditya Thackeray, a minister in the Maharashtra government and son of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, also tweeted about the matter. Aaditya Thackeray tweeted, ‘The current situation at Bandra station, or even the riots happening in Surat, is a result of the central government not being able to make arrangements for migrant workers to go back home. They don’t want food or shelter, they want to go back home.
