Pacer Mohammed Siraj (4/32) then tore apart Sri Lanka’s top-order as India bundled out the visitors for 73 in 22 overs.
Kohli remained unbeaten on 166 off 110 balls, while Gill scored 116 off 97 balls.

won the toss and elected to bat, opener Gill and captain Rohit Sharma (42) added 95 runs in 15.2 overs before Kohli scored his 46th ODI century and 74th overall in international cricket to anchor the Indian innings.
