India crush Sri Lanka by 317 runs, win series 3-0


India beat Sri Lanka by a record 317 runs in the third ODI to clinch the three-match series 3-0.

Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill Helped the hosts score 390 runs for five wickets by scoring a brilliant century.

Pacer Mohammed Siraj (4/32) then tore apart Sri Lanka’s top-order as India bundled out the visitors for 73 in 22 overs.

Kohli remained unbeaten on 166 off 110 balls, while Gill scored 116 off 97 balls.

won the toss and elected to bat, opener Gill and captain Rohit Sharma (42) added 95 runs in 15.2 overs before Kohli scored his 46th ODI century and 74th overall in international cricket to anchor the Indian innings.

Kohli and Gill shared a 131-run partnership for the second wicket.
